A quote from the movie Under the Tuscan Sun has stuck with me the past year and a half. It is, "You know what the most amazing thing about divorce is? It doesn't kill you. You'd think that it would, but it doesn't." At times if feels like death is a better option than having the love of your life betray you and reject you, but after the initial sting, which can last for quite a while, it is possible to bounce back even stronger and wiser than before. But total healing can not be had without the grace of God.

The key to sleeping alone, after divorce can be found in As Good as it Gets, with Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson: Sleep in the middle, don't have a side, that way it doesn't feel like someone is missing. I have certainly taken this advice, and I'm becoming quite good at it.
